Every year, on the last Saturday in May, the European Festival takes place in the Skandanavian Community Centre in Burnaby. Next year, it will be held May 29th, 2010. Europe Day is always held on May 9th, of every year, which this year is a Sunday. You can find more details at: www.eurofestbc.ca

Wir treffens uns jetzt ab dem 2. Juni immer um 4 Uhr bei Ploegers Deli (1st/Cypress). Wenn das Wetter mit macht, laufen wir zum Strand, spielen etwas und dann singen wir zusammen einige Lieder. Im Juli und August gibt es Sommerferien. Im September werden wir ein Treffpunkt in der Naehe von Kitsilano organisieren. Im Alpenclub wird es wahrscheinlich noch eine Spielgruppe Mittwochs geben, und jeder der will, kann sich dort treffen. Die Webseite kann man unter: www.vancouveralpenclub.ca finden. Eine neue Mitarbeiterin im Club wird die Gruppe dort uebernehmen.
