This website is mainly about and for the German-speaking community located and residing in British Columbia. Many new members of the "real" (ment not "virtual") community will not know much about British Columbia and its interesting places. Additionally many readers and users of GermanBC are people living in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, which are interested in Canada; some because they want to immigrate one day and some others because they want to travel to Canada, specially British Columbia.

Certainly people living in British Columbia for months or even years will be able to tell more about interesting places and things someone should see and experience. Some days ago one of our members created a group "Explore British Columbia" to collect, report and recommend all interesting and fascinating places and locations in British Columbia.

So we are very happy about this idea and do now want to heartly invite all members of GermanBC to join this group and share their knowledge and media (like photos and videos) about British Columbia. Help others to explore British Columbia and show them where to go and what should be seen.

We are sure that noone will know all places, so everyone will get to know some more places after a while.
