If some parts of your family or friends are staying in Canada and some other are staying in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, or if you are travelling around the world and you do want to stay in contact with your family and friends, then you will either spend much money for it using normal phone lines or you will need special equipment to do it using "Voice over IP" (phone calls over the internet), Skype or similiar services.

But what can you do, if you do not want to spend much money and you are not in reach of internet access or if internet access itself is very expensive?

In cooperation with our new partner Speap you are able to make cheap international phone calls using your normal phone or mobile.

One way to use Speap is simply call the local phone number of the country you are currently in, identify yourself and then enter the number you want to call (This method is named Call-Through).

Another way is to request a call back using the customer area of the Speap website or a small application for your computer or mobile; after receiving the call back you will be able to identify yourself and enter the number you wish to dial (This method is named Call-Back).

Certainly Call-Back results in higher costs, because you will have to pay for the call to your own phone and for the call to the desired party, but sometimes it will be the cheaper variant, for example if you are staying in a hotel without a mobile with you.

There is no setup fee and no monthly fee on Speap.
